Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely mums out there – I want to wish my mum, Grandma, Nana and Aunties a lovely day and hope you all get a big bunch of flowers! Mum and I are heading out for a yummy gluten free afternoon tea this afternoon, so head over to my Instagram page if you want to see what delicious treats I get to try.
I’m so excited to be writing my first ever blog series, focusing on ‘how to’ recipes. I’ve been wanting to start a series for a while and wasn’t sure which topic to base it around. As my blog focuses on healthy, gluten free recipes, I thought a series around how to make healthy food cupboard staples would be the most useful! I’m also really interested in creating a lifestyle series talking about living with Coeliac Disease, so let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in reading that!
It’s nearly Valentine’s Day, which means pretty pink food at the Oat So Delicious household! Valentine’s is a bit of a marmite holiday, but whether you have someone to spend it with or not, a bit of self-love can never go wrong in my eyes! What better way to show self-love than make yourself a big batch of yummy raspberry, chocolate and coconut bars?
I’ve got a really exciting recipe to share with you today – these salted caramel chia chocolate pots are made with a product from a yummy new brand I’ve discovered this week at a blogger event in London. On Thursday I hopped on the train to the big city to attend the first blogger event of 2018, run by the Health Bloggers Community.
IT’S NEW YEARS EVE!
How is 2017 nearly over? I’ve had the craziest year, making some big life decisions which I don’t regret one bit.
If you’re looking for a cute and super easy chocolate Christmas recipe, then these little Christmas tree chocolates are the perfect thing to make! I found this silicone Christmas tree ice cube tray on eBay and I knew it’d be the perfect mould for chocolate bites! Simply melt chocolate chips on the hob with a little bit of coconut oil, pour into your moulds and sprinkle over your toppings. I’ve chosen cranberries and pistachios as a Christmassy red and green theme, but any dried fruit/nut combo would work!
Happy beginning of December, aka CHRISTMAS MONTH!
The festivities are in full swing – I’ve put up the Christmas tree & decorations, umpteen amounts of hot chocolate and gingerbread lattes have been consumed and Christmas music has been playing at the gym. It’s safe to say life is pretty good at the moment!
These double chocolate granola bars are the perfect snack. They’re crunchy, VERY chocolatey, but not sickly sweet (meaning you can eat more!) I like to keep them in the fridge to have as a mid-afternoon treat with a cup of tea, or after dinner if I’m craving chocolate.
