Say hello to your new favourite fridge snack: these chocolate peanut butter fudge bites.
Whilst the whole country has been worrying about ‘yellow weather warnings’ due to the snow, I’ve been busy in the kitchen making a yummy new chocolate snack! There really isn’t anything better than having a delicious hot chocolate and a plate of these little fudge bites to keep you warm and cosy. My favourite baking/sweet recipes are ones which don’t require any technical ability, are simple to make and taste delicious – the most important part!
This chocolate peanut butter fudge only requires 4 ingredients and 4 steps. Simply melt everything in a pan, pour the mixture into a tin, add your peanut butter swirl and pop in the freezer! You could make this fudge even fancier by sprinkling nuts, seeds and chocolate chips on top before you put it in the freezer. It would be like your own DIY chocolate bark – yum!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
- 100g coconut oil
- 85g peanut butter
- 85g honey/maple syrup/agave
- 100g dark chocolate, melted
- Pinch sea salt
- 2 tbsp peanut butter decoration
Start by lining a square baking tray with parchment paper.
Melt the coconut oil, chocolate and sweetener over a bain marie until everything is melted and smooth. Take off the heat and stir in peanut butter.
Pour your chocolate into the prepared baking tray, making sure the mixture evenly covers all corners of the tin.
Using a knife, drizzle the extra peanut butter on top of your chocolate, then use a skewer to swirl the peanut butter around.
Sprinkle over the sea salt.
Place in freezer for at least 2 hours to set, then cut into squares.
Store in the fridge - enjoy!
