With just over a week left until Christmas Day, I thought I’d share some of my favourite past and present festive recipes that I’ve created for my blog. These include delicious salted caramel and nut butter truffles, gluten-free Christmas granola, white chocolate cookies and not forgetting one of the most popular recipes on my blog – mince pie porridge!
With just under two weeks to go until Christmas Day (wahoo), I thought it was time to share the recipe for this super festive and delicious Christmas spiced granola. I have to say, gluten-free granola is probably my all time favourite thing to make (I never buy shop bought GF granola) – it’s ridiculously easy to make, you can choose any flavour combination and ultimately it’s much healthier than the pre-made versions!
It’s finally December, which means it’s time for Christmas recipes!! I’ve been waiting for Chrimbo to come round for what feels like forever, and it’s nice to finally be openly festive without having daggers thrown my way! If any of you love Christmas as much as I do, you’ll know it’s the kiss of death playing festive music in November…
Yep, nothing can really get better than chocolate gingerbread at Christmas.
Whenever I make mince pies, I always make more of the mincemeat filling than necessary – usually for more mince pies! This time however, I thought I’d be a bit more creative with my leftovers. Last week I shared my Healthy Mince Pie recipe, and as per I made too much filling – so thought why not use the extras in my all time favourite breakfast – PORRIDGE.
If you’re looking for a cute and super easy chocolate Christmas recipe, then these little Christmas tree chocolates are the perfect thing to make! I found this silicone Christmas tree ice cube tray on eBay and I knew it’d be the perfect mould for chocolate bites! Simply melt chocolate chips on the hob with a little bit of coconut oil, pour into your moulds and sprinkle over your toppings. I’ve chosen cranberries and pistachios as a Christmassy red and green theme, but any dried fruit/nut combo would work!
Happy beginning of December, aka CHRISTMAS MONTH!
The festivities are in full swing – I’ve put up the Christmas tree & decorations, umpteen amounts of hot chocolate and gingerbread lattes have been consumed and Christmas music has been playing at the gym. It’s safe to say life is pretty good at the moment!
