It’s snack time in the Oat So Delicious household this week, mainly due to an abundance of Perkier snacks from last weeks event in London!, However, I’m now a little bit obsessed with these delicious almond butter stuffed dates…

I feel like snacks get a bad rep sometimes. We’re told to eat hearty, filling meals so we don’t feel the need to snack in-between courses. However, I don’t remember the last time I lasted from lunch to dinner without a little nibble of something in-between!

Crunchy Chocolate & Peanut Butter Doughnuts

I’m a firm believer that healthy food should be quick, easy and taste delicious. Whether that’s a fresh bowl of salad, a yummy stack of blueberry pancakes or a simple snack like crunchy chocolate & peanut butter doughnuts. Healthy food doesn’t have to include expensive and inaccessible ingredients, they should be ones you can find conveniently, as you’ll be much more likely to make your own healthy snacks if you can easily find the ingredients!

Baked Cinnamon Pears

One of my favourite fruits is the humble pear. In my eyes it’s completely underestimated, but why shouldn’t it be in the same league as an apple? They’re both easy to eat fruits that don’t need preparing, they taste delicious raw or baked and can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes. Even so, the pear always seems to be forgotten about!
